AQUASUN Ingredients
AQUASUN sun care products are formulated with micronised zinc oxide, creating a protective layer on our skin to reflect the UV rays away and is considered to be ocean safe. This is different to traditional sun care products that are formulated with harmful chemicals such as oxybenzone, octinoxate (octyl methoxycinnamate), homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene, and avobenzone which are absorbed into our skin, and are potentially harmful, and pollute our waterways and reefs.
AQUASUN Recyclable Packaging
AQUASUN uses lightweight and durable aluminium tubes that are infinitely recyclable. This means they can be recycled forever, using 95% less energy than it takes to produce new aluminium. Every year up to 130 tonnes of plastic finds its way into our waterways, with Aussies using an average of 130 kg of plastic each year, with only 9% recycled. These concerning numbers and the damage single-use plastics are contributing to our planet is the reason AQUASUN looked at alternate packaging solutions.
